Meridian, ID Costco

Happy Monday, friends!

I'm sure all of you, like me, have been keeping tabs on the new Costco coming to Meridian in 2020. 

According to a recent article by the Idaho Statesman, the Meridian City Council voted unanimously to approve the design of a new Costco on West Chinden Boulevard and North Ten Mile Road.

In the new design, pergolas cover the entrance. To the side, the building offers outdoor tables and chairs for Costco food court customers to sit and eat. 

“We really focus on that pedestrian scale,” Ekblad said.

The store will also feature a gas station able to fuel up to 30 vehicles at a time.

Council members thanked Peter Kahn, Costco’s assistant vice president for real estate development, for sticking with Meridian throughout the public hearing process.

Hip Hooray for Costco coming next year!!!!
